There are Peregrine Falcons that live and nest downtown, today was first flight day for the babies. We didn't know we were just meeting friends for morning coffee and hot chocolate.
We got downtown and noticed groups of people on the Circle with binoculars gazing at the sky... curiosity got the better of us, and I had to ask... we were treated to some binoculars, L got a look though a birding telescope on a tripod... and a group of college students telling us all about the bird we were looking at.
