It's the season of Farmer's Markets again, when we can get fresh produce straight from the vendors.
K did an alphabet hunt at the market

etc.
She didn't finish her alphabet, and it made shopping twice as loooong as it would have taken, but it was fun!
We have a great book out from the library at the moment "How Much?- Visiting Markets around the world" by Ted Lewin. It's an awesome look at how people visit markets, like our farmer's markets - all over the world!

K and her friends really enjoyed the clothesline on Wednesday afternoon. The pegged out lots of leaves, and even a watermelon rind or two. : )

Down by the creek, looking for rocks to paint! K and F found some shells, rocks to grind.... lots of fun!

He got his face paint from F..... the prehistoric art didn't stay on the rocks- much like the cave people perhaps!
