The breezes taste
Of apple peel.
The air is full
Of smells to feel-
Ripe fruit, old footballs,
Burning brush,
New books, erasers,
Chalk and such.
The bee, his hive,
Well-honeyed hum,
And Mother cuts
Crysanthemums.
Like plates washed clean
With suds, the days
Are polished with
A morning haze.

K knits
Originally uploaded by annamaren.K and I have begun our knitting again, as the weather has chilled a little lately. (It's been rainy all week).
Waldorf educational philosophy shares many fine educational reasons that children should learn to knit. That's all great, but I do love to share a craft with her too, that's just as valuable to me!
