We made cookies for book-club snack, and L was obsessed. He helps a lot in the kitchen these days too, and thoroughly enjoys eating any results of his work.

Book club was K's host on Friday. She chose an Australian book "A Year on Our Farm". It was a book that Gran gave the kiddos that they particularly love. K loves it most right now because the kids in the family get a pony for Christmas!
We talked about A year in our Neighbourhood and the girls wrote a page on each season.
I love how these girls enjoy bookclub so much. It's so sweet. They work together so well. : )

We're back from Thanksgiving!
The weather was so beautiful, we went for a bit of a hike around the State Park that Rob loved when he was a kiddo. This area of the park is called Hell's Hollow, and it was simply beautiful, despite the drab-ness of the season's lack of leaves.
Thanksgiving was a nice time, played lots of games and ate plenty of food. Mmmmmm.
