It feels like I have been blabbing about spring an awful lot in these last few posts.
It's just that we enjoy being outside, and this weather, well it's the spring weather we have been longing for. The weather before the mosquitoes set in, the weather before you start to sweat and need SPF 15 for even a quick stop at the playground.
The weather that makes me enthused about gardening, before the weeds are battling with me.
So we have been outside a lot, and I am awfully glad that this is one of the benefits of homeschooling for our family. The littles who love to be outside can be outside as long as their hearts want to!
There is no time crunch, we can wander down to Holcomb Gardens after Violin Lessons, because we are curious to see if anything is blooming yet. If we want to do our Fairy Math outside on the deck, we can. We can have our snacks with our squirrely friends and bike to the library just to count the daffodils.
It almost feels sneaky to write about, knowing that if they were in school, they'd be inside for many of these hours that we have been out. Oh well. We're living it up while we feel springy!

L swinging on the rope swing!

This was from Sunday, but today bought us the same kind of outdoorsy fun. We biked to the library, had music lessons at Butler, met friends for coffee, had a little hair cut, played outside a good deal too!
Ahhh spring!
K and daddy halfway down the feral hive
Originally uploaded by annamaren. It's been a quiet weekend, which has been nice.
I have been a little under the weather, but with a decent dose of sleep and Vitamin C, I am on my way back.
The kiddos enjoyed sunshine, they rode bikes with daddy, and K tended the bees with Rob on Sunday afternoon. L just had fun on the swings and watched from a distance.
I took K to orchestra on Saturday afternoon. She is really enjoying it, and I am so happy for her.
Now I have posted all the bee flickr photos, I am off to bed.
