Well, I am posting this from Rob's computer, as my hard drive took a turn for the worse over the weekend. It is currently comatose, but it's Dr (Rob) is working to save the patient, and restore it to better health with a new hard drive.

Meanwhile..... all is well here. We took the first honey from the bees over the weekend. YUM! I know it's early, but the Italians had a frame full and it was too tempting! I have missed our honey so much, it's so different from processed honey from the store. Also over the weekend- Gazebo Resurrection! Our back deck has been so sad without the Gazebo. (It imploded with the snow over the winter.) So Rob has the frame back up, and I took the cover to the laundromat. And am now sewing velcro tabs onto the thing, because I think it would be better than sewing all the little metal hooky things back on. A little seam sealer, and hey presto! Good as new!

Today was K's first day of Summer Chess Club. She had a good time, despite being beat twice! While we were out, I accidently left K and L's bedroom window open from the top (no screen) and when we got back, L said "mama, there's a bird in my bedroom!" Sure enough, there was- a baby red bellied woodpecker! We know exactly where this little bird lives, and have been watching them all spring! After a crazy chase, little Flippy was caught and released and flew right back to her tree. Right where we thought she'd go!

Wild. So anyway, that's what we have been up to. Won't be back online until the weekend maybe. If you have e-mailed me recently, sorry, I didn't get it!
