Goldilocks Zoey was recieved into Chicken Heaven at about 5pm Sunday the 17th of June. She was the best of pets; sweet, good natured, funny, entertaining, and of course practical. She was well loved, and will be missed by her two avian sisters, and her human family and friends. (And she had many human friends. Goldi-chicken was the favorite of more than one of K's buddies.)
Her life was a happy one, and although we lavished her with care while she was unwell, we are glad she is not suffering anymore.
We are thankful for the opportunity to have loved a pet, even for the short time we had her, and now for this opportunity to learn about life and death.

P.S. K was so happy to have those friends who were able to make it, over for the funeral. Thanks guys.
