We picked up K's newest craze- a cello, on Thursday afternoon.

She has been playing her violin like a cello all summer long, so after much prompting we are giving her a month to play around and have a workshop and a few lessons on a 1/2 size cello. I have to say, I love how it sounds. If she keeps it up I am going to make her practice all the time!

K has a little friend who began school this fall. She was over to dinner this evening, we were all sitting around the table, talking about random things, and so randomly, O pipes up with this classic....
"I think that maybe now I would like to do homeschooling. If I was homeschooling at home, I wouldn't have learned this word from my friends at school- sh*t"
She said it so effectively, without pretense or excitement..... I had to excuse myself from the table so I could go lie on the floor in another room and die of laughter!
